Summerville High School Foundation has a need for volunteers several times during the school year. In August we visit the school with our big tent at the New Student BBQ, and at Back to School Night in September. We also do an annual fundraiser called the “Feed the Bears” dinner/auction. The event is usually held at the Black Oak Casino Resort and it’s a fun evening of good food, recognition of our sponsors and Live and Silent Auctions and Raffles. Recently, we staged a Drive-Thru, Take-Out BBQ Dinner and needed volunteers to hand-out dinners at curb-side in the front parking lot at the school. We also bring our BIG TENT to the annual Homecoming Game and do a raffle and hand out bear-paw cookies.
Nothing we do require hours of work so it’s easy to help us out at one or more events during the year. We would love to have you help out once in awhile-so sign-up today!!
