In July 2010 the Foundation contributed $40,000 towards the new seating in the Summerville High School theater which cost a total of $145,000 for 324 padded theater seats that fold away on telescoping risers.
The Foundation continues to support improvements to the theater complex filling Bear Grants for new lighting, improved sound equipment, on other ongoing financial needs. The theater is not only used by Connections Academy and Performing Arts, but also for community and school meetings, specials events, and student functions.
