Congratulations to the Hall of Fame 2024 Honorees

This tradition has a long history. In the past, the Hall of Fame awards were presented to outstanding students of the Summerville Union High School District who had demonstrated exceptional achievements in sports. Typically, these awards took the form of lifetime passes granting access to all sporting events held at the high school. The names of the recipients were announced during halftime at Summerville Basketball games. Regrettably, interest in carrying out these awards waned during the mid-1980s.

In recent years, the Summerville Foundation has played a pivotal role in reviving this tradition. Each year, we reach out to the community, inviting nominations for individuals who have excelled not only in athletics but also in the realms of arts and academics. These distinguished honorees are typically announced and celebrated at our annual Feed the Bears Fundraiser dinner. This year, we introduced them in the program of our modified Feed the Bears dinner, which took place yesterday at the Willow Springs clubhouse.

We are proud to honor these amazing Summerville graduates for their various accomplishments. Congratulations everyone!
